Del Mar is more than horseracing—it’s one of San Diego’s largest playgrounds for kids and adults alike.

If you miss Family Fun Day with a free Pony Boy giveaway during the season’s opening weekend, you can always jump, run and giggle your way through the day’s race card at Family Fun Weekends every Saturday and Sunday in the Infield.

Del Mar welcomes families with free special events like Jockey Photo Day and popular Donut Days. And for the more serious breakfast eater, families can enjoy a buffet breakfast every Saturday and Sunday during Daybreak at Del Mar, which also includes fabulous views of Thoroughbreds jogging their morning workouts and a Q&A to help learn more about horseracing.

And in summer camp style, Camp Del Mar lets mom and day enjoy a day at the races while the kids participate in an educational and interactive (and very fun!) daytime camp.

And don’t forget that even the little ones can sport their One and Only Truly Fabulous Hat...any day during the season.
